Trying to get my Sub to work with my Pioneer 1018AH-K

I need help!
I just started up my first surround system and I bought the Polk RTi10 & the PSW505 12" sub. Also I have the Pioneer 1018AH-K receiver.
I did the MCACC test and sub was testing fine, but when the test was done my speakers are playing but not the sub.
Everything seems to be connected properly... I have the cord plugged into the back of my receiver that says 'Subwoofer'
So where did I go wrong? Why isn't it working?
Can anyone help?

Turn up the volume very loud and see if it comes on in a few seconds.
Also, you can go into the Pioneer menu and adjust the sub volume louder to fit your taste.
Great set-up by the way. -
Thanks for info! It worked perfectly!
Also thanks for the compliment... (I know u didn't ask but...) The only reason why I haven't got all my speakers yet is b/c I don't have enough space for everything... Otherwise, I would have a complete system.
Thanks again man! -

Is this because the sub was set to come on automatically when it receives a signal?
