RTA 12 or RT2000i

I just made a post in the vintage area but thought maybe it should go here. I have a vintage set of RTA 12 but have a line on a set of RT2000i's. I am wondering if it is a good upgrade. I have enjoyed the RTA's but would like more sound. Are they a good choice?
