Gotta chuckle at this one. It just shows the lunacy behind our current situation.

5 billion. Are they for real. All jokes aside, the country is in bad shape right now. Do we really need to bail out our vices now?

I think they - Larry Flint and Joe Francis - are doing this to show the absurdity of all the bailouts and industry nationalization that is happening. I have to admit. I applaud them for illustrating how ridiculous this government expansion (a euphemism) is.

I wouldn't be surprised if nowadays, the **** industry is bigger then the (US) car industry.

Somebody on a political blog wrote that gov't bailout of **** industry would be accompanied by stringent new emissions controls.

Looks like that if people got their "bank" on more than their "****" on things might improve, lol.

The only numbers I could find were from 2001, and they were just estimates, but they were in the 10-14 billion dollars per year in revenue. For ****.

I would go ahead and guess the auto industry is more than that, but it's surprisingly hard to just find a number that sums it up.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I have no problem with my tax dollars going to this, as long as they show their appreciation :). Perhaps an industry "representative" can show us how our $ is ...supported? In real time.

Yeah you gotta wonder, with the proliferation of broadband internet, if those numbers have gone down since '01 or up?
