How do you open the M5 to replace the speaker and is there still a link to Polk's parts/price list?
Thanks, Dan

    Welcome to Club Polk Dan!

The woofer in the Monitor 5 can easily be removed from the front, by removing the grill. Four screws hold the woofer to the front baffle. Disconnect the two wires noting which one is the hot lead (red terminal, probably a black wire). Call Polk Customer Service. Their toll free number is 1-866-764-1801. I new woofer is about $40. Good luck and welcome to the Club Polk Forums!:)

Carl's definitely got the good advice above.

Just wanted to add that you should mention you're a Club Polk member when you call, for lower pricing and I believe free shipping to the lower 48.

There should be 4 screws on the driver itself. Are you looking on the baffle? That's not where you need to remove it from.
