I have tried the Peerless tweeters in my SDA2a's and they are real nice. After long listening secessions I prefer the 194's. The RDO-194 which is the proper replacement tweeter for the 2a's, really is the right way to go. You can buy them directly from Polk for about $50. each, a wise thing to do. I have seen some nice peerless tweeters on e-bay so thats a good way to go.
    Just my opinion.

Drew, are you recomending to buy the 194's over the Peerless or only buy them if one can not find the Peerless or is there no difference? I have the black and clear Tweeters in the SDA's right now and after reading that the Peerless are the better Tweeters, wanted to exchange them.

    Thanks

I feel after listening long and hard that the RDO-194 is a better all around sounding tweeter. Forget about the Peerless and go the RDO way. Contact Polk CS when placing the order, you won't regret it.

Yes, I think I read that here on the forum before. I think you are right, I will try the RDO's.

    Thanks
