So i just walked the dog and noticed a crate what looked to be vinyl sitting by the trash. Dropped the dog off grabbed a beer and went back to take a gander and there were about 30-40 records sitting there. at first glance they looked rough, but deep in some of the mix i seen some eagles, bad co, jim croce, james taylor, steely dan, jefferson starship, david bowie and few others that rung a bell. most of the covers arent in the best of shape but the records themselves looked to be in pretty good shape. Mind you i know zip about records except my buddies dad has crates upon crates that we arent allowed to touch. So if there are any local Polkies that want to come take a gander you are free to come check it out and take what you want. If not i will just toss back in front of the dumpster where i found them.

    Vinyl what's that? :D
I haven't had vinyl in about 20yrs....but when I did I had some OLD stuff.
Like the old 78's some of the records that if ya dropped em they shatter!
Anyone here remember those? Mostly big band and 1940's stuff.
Some vinyl I had was some colored classical records some came in transparent red and green. I shoulda kept em.
I could kick myself.......went to a garage sale back then and found the Beatles 1st record on VeeJay recording lable.....mint condition for $1.00....can't imagine what it's worth now.
My last move I did I had to leave a lotta stuff behind(long story)and I think some of those records were in the mix. :(
Yeah I tossed about 100 cassette tapes about 5yrs ago as well.
Cd's came out I never looked back.....still have many of the 1st ones I ever bought still mint in condition!!

Records are gone. Got to meet Roy (engtaz) who is a stand up guy. Chatted gear for a bit he got to hear a mini demo of my modest rig. Maybe one of these days i can demo the 3.1's

Hope you found some gems in the stack
