wiring mishap

I am attempting to replace the binding posts on a set of SDA 2s.
While doing do I damaged one of the black wires. It's about ten inches coupled together by a ring terminal with another piece five inches. The other end of the ten inch section has a female disconnect either 1/8" or 3/32.
Any suggestions for replacement?
I spent the better part of today searching for that disconnect locally to no avail.
Thanks in advance.

Try Parts Express or just solder directly onto the post.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

Any guesses as to what kind of wire to purchase?
