I have for sale an AMC DAC8....it was my intro to outboard dac's...no problems, sounds fine...i've had it about 2 years, i think........ i'm selling because i just upgraded to an ADCOM dac...i'll have pics up soon...looking for $90 shipped CONUS:cool:

It's a nice DAC for the price and a good step up from integrated.

I use one in my office rig..............a no brainer here for $90. It retailed for about $329 and is a solid upper entry level DAC that will best most if not all entry level cdps as well as dvdp's.

heiney, i just hooked it up yesterday and only used it with the headphone amp i have. but, what a difference!:) very smooth! much like the 1st time i played the AMC dac, of course;) -
I bought one from RussMan about a year ago. It sits in my HT setup. I use it on My Sony ES and am trying it on the Polk XM tuner. Very pleased with it's performance for the price. Solid lil DAC. A no brainer at this price IMO.

This may be a totally ignorant question, but would this allow me to get True HD ,etc, through the 7.1 analog out of my Panasonic Blu-ray? I currently have it hooked up through the multi-channel inputs of my H/K 7300, which doesn't have bass management.
