well my Iphone 2.2 is much faster compared to previous versions. G1 lacks in size, slow camera, software, browser, battery life, multi-touch, accelerometer (at least was not used in browser or other soft that i demoed), i could not easily sync with outlook, exchange server etc., i could not back up, and i don't know.....does it have software keyboard yet ?
with Iphone everything is a easy and user friendly. cons are: browser flash (3rd party soft in beta testing already), multi-tasking (sort of available, but not good enough for me), auto focus camera, not business friendly.
