I posted this in the test forum and I'm guessing I shouldn't have. Well, ima try here and if I'm doing something wrong please tell me. Hi, I've been bored lately so I decided to find a new hobby, and learning about audio equipment is something I've always wanted to do. I'm getting a PSW125 sub and a Yamaha hrt6140 receiver in soon and was wondering what you guys think about the decision i made for my (small) room? Will the receiver push the sub enough to have some good vibrations while i watch movies? My speakers are some cheap theater logic speakers that my friend is giving me (will upgrade that when i can afford it). Also, I found an insignia is-hc040918 (discontinued) receiver in my garage, which is a 2 channel (100w/ch), and was wondering if its ok if i bridge the 2 channels to push my sub? Well, this is all the equipment i have/will have as of now...any comments or suggestion is very much appreciated!

The PSW125 has it's own amplifier built in, it won't use the amp in your Yamaha or the Insignia.
