Hi, I've been bored lately so I decided to find a new hobby, and learning about audio equipment is something I've always wanted to do. I'm getting a PSW125 sub and a Yamaha hrt6140 receiver in soon and was wondering what you guys think about the decision i made for my (small) room? Will the receiver push the sub enough to have some good vibrations while i watch movies? My speakers are some cheap theater logic speakers that my friend is giving me (will upgrade that when i can afford it). Also, I found an insignia is-hc040918 (discontinued) receiver in my garage, which is a 2 channel (100w/ch), and was wondering if its ok if i bridge the 2 channels to push my sub? Well, this is all the equipment i have/will have as of now...any comments or suggestion is very much appreciated! btw, this forum is pretty awesome! I read a lot of the other threads and the people here are really nice and helpful.

No bad George, waiting for winter to end - right. Several months to go. Speaking of the "Ice Road Truckers" I was in the airport prior to Christmas and some journalists were having lunch with Alex at the next table. He's quite the character.
As for the tubes, might have a little hum problem. Audio Research is assisting me in the trouble shooting. Thanks for asking George.

I don't think mnetzergolf is a Polkie so it's too bad his bidders don't know about beemers 2.3TL's with RDO's. They are getting pricey picked up Baltimore with what looks to be 6 original SL3000's.

thanks for the help guys! Lasareath, yea....ill pass on that for now. give me a couple years when I'm out of college, making some good money, have my own house with a theater room to play around with, and some more experience before I buy anything that costs that much. I'm doing my room right now so I'll keep it small. get back at me in a couple of years. well, ill be coming back to this forum A LOT to learn, and, hopefully, one day ill be able to help out someone. oh yea, I'm from New Orleans btw.
