PSW1000 or DSW600?

I'm having a hard time deciding between these two subs. The DSW600 is slightly more expensive (from my source) than the PSW1000, but the specs of the PSW1000 "seem" to be better. Which will sound better, perform better, and hit the lower octaves?
The rest of my system, currently, consists of:
Denon AVR-3808ci
PS3 for Blu-Ray (via HDMI to Denon)
HTPC (custom built) (Via HDMI to Denon)
Directv HD (via HDMI to Denon)
Samsung 61" HD DLP (via HDMI from Denon)
Polk RTi10 (fronts)
Polk Monitor 40's (side surround)
Rear surrounds not purchased (or decided on) yet, but will be Polks as well.
I listen to music, play games on the HTPC as well as the PS3, and watch movies (DVD and Blu-Ray). I do them all about the same amount, but am probably more concerned about music performance the most.
TIA!

I vote for the DSW600...or if not...you might consider looking into the SVS PB10-NSD. 300 watts into a 10" driver...for about 500 bucks shipped.

DSW 600. I have two. I love 'em.

I'd also recommend the 600 over the 1000 based on the system you have and the material you play.-Eric

Thanks for the input!
I have added a picture layout of my living room. It is about 15'x20' with openings to the hall and kitchen. Basically, I want to sit in the primary listening position (as noted on the image) and hear everything the artist wants heard (like I can in my car).
I also agree that asthetics are important... Much of my living room funiture and equipment is black, and most with piano black trim.
Those that have experience with both... what about the DSW600 would you say is the reason you prefer it over the PSW1000?
