Hi:
Im using an Infinity RS-325 as Surround and Polk RTi4 as Back Surrounds.
I have one of the Infinity Speakers that does not sound as good as the other.
I read there are some Foam Repair Kits. Any one do this before?
Which one you recommend?

Brother did it to a pair of old Advents ( know for there foam going bad)

He said it was the biggest pain in the a#@. I have never done it but he is a very handy guy and I really trust his word.

    Hope this helps

I have done one pair. An old pair of AR6 speakers that I bought at the thrift for about $10. I didn't find it too hard at all . In fact , it was very rewarding to get them speakers working well again. I would recommend the ebay kit . Also google speaker refoaming for some helpful pictures.Feel free to ask me anything . Again , I only did it once but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. While you have the drivers out to refoam , consider recapping the crossover. Good luck .

You have to be very careful and make sure that the coil/cone is properly aligned when you are gluing the new surround. Some kits come with the inserts, so that you can cut off the dust cap and insert those sticks/inserts around the coil to keep it evenly aligned.
I reconed one 15" speaker before and the kit did not come with the inserts. It was pretty painful.
