Trying to figure out which center channel to get. Room is 15'x15' with 10' ceiling. 90% movies/tv and 10% games/music. We are in our 40's and won't be cranking up the volume very much. Because of space issue (I had 12"), I went with a Hsu SFT-1. I would prefer to order something pretty soon but can wait. I emailed Polk direct inquiring about the csi-a6. They don't have any listed at this time. I would really like to stay under $200. I haven't paid over that for anything except the sub, yet. Here is what I am looking at right now. Any opinions or ideas are welcome.

csi 5--$260
csi 3--$120
csi a4--$235 from amazon
csi a6--$400

I can get the csi a4 now. I know you guys recommend the a6 but it is really out of my budget. I might could swing the csi 5 in a few weeks if it is better than the csi-a4. Think I will pass on the csi 3. I sure will be glad when I get everything bought. I have spent a lot of hours on the computer researching and reading forums. My brain is about fried. Thanks for all the help. Of all the forums I have posted on, I already like this one. Seems like I get more responses and more help.

The csi5/csi a6 would be the preferred. You should be able to get the csi a6 for cheaper than $400 be patient and do alittle shopping around. I paid $225 for mine thru Polk Direct.

Take into consideration the size of the csi5/ a6 they're huge.

Size isn't an issue with my center speaker. I found the csi a4 for $203.44 but if I could get the a6 for $225 that would be great. Maybe polk direct will email me back.

My room is 15x15 also with 9' ceilings. As i posted on an earlier thread, i just got the A6 and its perfect for my room. If you can swing it, its an awesome center, But i thought the Csi3 was a fine speaker also.

Watch the Polk ebay direct store. I recently got a black csia6 for $152 and change, shipped to my door. Awesome (looking) speaker, unfortunately it is not hooked up yet.

For RTi6s I'd say any of the listed speakers would be fine. the CSi3 is more than enough speaker when matched with the RTi6s. Also, I've found that the bang for the buck ratio is much higher with the CSi3.

If you aren't going to use it, I will give you your money back and you can ship it to me. lol

I may get a CSi 3 for now and maybe upgrade later on. I sure like the price.
