OWM3s as rears with Rti fronts & center?
Could use a little help. My sofa is backed up against a wall. I have Rti10's and a Csi5 up front and r50s as rears (these were my old fronts). I would like to replace the r50s because their placement (the sides of the sofa) just plain stinks, both acoustically and aesthetically. Does anyone know whether the OWM3s will blend with the Rti's up front? I've made many mistakes with this hobby and would prefer to not buy rears that have a poor timbre match. Having said that, I am willing to give up some SQ for the relatively sleek design of the OWM3s. (Sometimes I think I should just go to a 3.1 set-up but that is another thread... )
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't see why not, though I have not heard the OWM3s myself, sorry.
They look versatile as Hell, very impressive little speaker.
If you get them, make sure you set your surrounds to "small" in your AVR.So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

I am planning on using the OWMs with RTiA3's and a csiA4 up front. My guess it they'll be fine, but I can let you know.

Polrbehr/jaginger,
Thanks for your comments. I'm surprised there is no one else out there with the same set-up.MAIN: Polk Lsi9s; Polk PSW505; Lsic (in box); Onkyo SR-875; Parasound 2250; Cambridge Audio 740C; LG BD370

It's not as close of a match as say- the FXi or TCi in the rear- however the OWM has a sound quite similar to the RTi, particularly if you're going to be using them as surrounds. Silk dome tweeter, similar driver and similar voicing. I'd say go for it.-Eric

Thanks Eric,
I will probably give them a try. I really don't listen to much multi-channel music, so I guess they can't be that bad.MAIN: Polk Lsi9s; Polk PSW505; Lsic (in box); Onkyo SR-875; Parasound 2250; Cambridge Audio 740C; LG BD370
