Superbowl Movie Trailers

Thoughts?

I missed Adam Sandlers 'Anger Management', but the wife said it looked like it would be worth a viewing.

Charlies Angles - Seemed 'cool', but is it just more of the same? I own the first movie, and think its good for what it is, but do we REALLY need another one? I won't comment on the new 'Bosley'.

T3 - Way too short, and from what they did show, looks like CGI mania. Is this an animated film, or a movie? I HAVE to see it regardless, but T2 was SO great, I'm not sure ANOTHER sequel is needed.

Matrix 2, 3 - Again, I'm going to have to see it (them) on principal alone. Trailer seemed good, I enjoyed seeing the same characters (actors) returning. Nice length, showed some action, unlike the the T3 trailer.

Hulk - VERY dissapointed. What happened to Lou? Or at least another buff dude. At least from the trailer, the Hulk looked *too* big. And once again, the action sequences seemed overly-cgi'd. Perhaps this is just where we are headed and I should accept it. Again I ask, is this an animated film, or a movie?

I can't remember the Ben Affleck super-hero title, but I'm passing on that one altogether. Cheesy actor, trailer seemed to ride on Spiderman's coat-tails. 'Ben' there, done that.

Cheers,
Rooster

Lou was just on a sit com. Actualy he is bigger and badder than ever. Should have used him. That CGI hulk looks too BIG and CHEESY. I can see why they held on to the teaser so long.

I can't freaking what - both movies this year and they look amazing.

DAREDEVIL --- Ben Affleck ruins the whole thing. Hope it turns out OK. Ya- it is really strange how nobody would take the "gamble" on comic movies but with the success of Spiderman and Xmen movie companys can't what to throw ther money down.

The Hulk looked very cheesy. The Matrix sequels and T3 look like they have the potential to be good. I thought the Bruce Almighty trailer was hysterical. Should be an interesting year for movies!

    I can't stand Adam Sandler - won't watch it - don't care!

What is return of the king? Only movie worth movie theater!!! Did not see a trailer on it. Is it that religious flick u were speaking of?
    Anyway----
Adam Sandler lost the touch - his movies lately are barely worth a rental. The new Jim Carey flick looks very funny.

I saw a preview for Anger Management in the theater and oh my GOD........that scene where Jack FLIPS out over his eggs had me laughing so hard that I had tears rollin down my cheeks for 15 minutes into the movie. Even if you're not an Adam Sandler fan, at LEAST see that one for Jack......

The Hulk looked absolutely assinine. It's the same reason that I couldn't stand the Mummy sequel with that hokey Scorpion (sp?) all cgi'd at the end. That last 3-5 minutes of film with that in it completely ruined the overall movie......I'll wait to hear what people say about Hulk, but probably rent it, if anything......

I think if they do it right, Daredevil can be a good flick. True, not a huge fan of Ben, but still, if done right it will be good.

I don't know why they aren't having more time between the Matrix movies, seems to close to me.

    T3 = gotta see.

Hulk = ugh. Naw, too much CGI.

OK, even though I agree with 'Oversized" comments, I'll volunteer to check out "HULK". I mean the green dude was slingin' a tank. Was always my favorite MC character, and never thought the TV series measured up. IMB CGI worked for Spidey, why not here, too.

Saw movie trailer for "Bruce Almighty" in theatre, and it killed the audience, me included. Will go see it, hoping it's not another "all the best parts were in the trailer" comedy.

I'll wait on y'all's reviews for the rest.
    More later,

Mr.46, Return of the King is the 3rd installment of The Lord of the Rings. Yes, this is the only movie I see worthy enough to go out to a movie theater and see. All others (Matrix 1 & 2, T3, Hulk...etc.) so far can wait for the dvd.

There was no super 'toilet' bowl trailer for it.

I think Hulk is going to be a good one. Good cast and director. I think the preview didn't give any justice to how good its going to be. Ang Lee is a great director. I'm sure the action sequenced will be awesome.

I will pass on all of them except Matrix 2..Any title with 3 in it is going to suck in my book. I cant think of any movie that was the third in a series really being that good( except for the Dollars trilogy). All these comic book movies are crap IMO too. They are like Steohen King books. Great to read but dont translate well to the big screen. Spiderman came close but after a seconf viewing I didnt think it was all that good.

Looks like Ang Lee is going for the original comic book version instead of the TV show.

Ang Lee's version would be more true to the comics. The TV version was just a green very strong overmuscled dude.

    This could be fun!

I'm also looking forward to X-Men 2. I don't think there was a trailer for it during Super Bowl which is surprising. This one is going to kick some ****!
    No excuses!
