So I had a late night critical listening session with my rig a couple weeks ago and came to the conclusion that I needed a new cd player. My NAD C-542 is now the weakest link and it is drawing too much attention to itself. It sounds too warm and bloated in the bass. I decided on a HDCD tube cd player- Bada HD-22SE. I pulled the trigger and it should be arriving in a week! :D I know there are about a handful of CP members that have one. I also ordered a pair of GE 5670's. Can't wait for the goods to arrive.

Fantastic!!! Welcome to the Bada family. The Bada will destroy the NAD. Glad you got the GE tubes. Throw away the stock tubes immediately and pop the GE's in. Play with power cords, too.
