I've always used a pint container from Chinese take out.

That thing looks like it does a good job, though.

I’ve got one I use on really gunky used LP’s to prevent serious contamination of my RCM/record brushes. Good sturdy design. You may have to push an O-ring back in place from time to time. No seal on the retaining knobs, so it may not be watertight for submarine (totally submerged) use.

I just try to not slop too much soapy water on the label when I do the hand scrubbing on the kitchen counter. I don't even worry too much about spraying the label with the distilled water rinse. I dry the labels off with a paper towel several times during the cleaning process. I haven't had a problem with a label discoloring or coming loose, just leave the LP out to dry for about 20 min a side.

Looks like a good solution if you're worried about your LP labels though.

I have one. It no longer comes with brush. It does an excellent job or should I say it allows you to do an excellent job. Since I bought it , my urgency for an RCM has diminished greatly though I think I'll eventually make one. I recommend buying a nylon bristled brush made for cleaning records such as the nitty gritty brush or the Osage.
