The more I read the more I see the level of experience available here. Hope you can help.
Powered by Integra DTR-7.2 rated at 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms. Unit can be swithched from 6 to 4 ohms for all outputs.
The amp runs RTi10 for fronts, CSiA6 for centre, FXi4 for surround and RTi6 for the back. Now I want to add another pair of FXi4 as second set of surround for my two rows and level seating arrangement. I am testing this configuration cause I am not sure how it will all sound.
Option A: Serial connection (16 ohms) Adjust amp level internaly for surround output to desired level
Option B: Parallel connection (4 ohms) Not sure this amp can really handle all those speakers at that 4 ohms setting
Option C: Use the pre-amp output to an external amp to power one pair or both pairs of FXi4.
Thank you in advance for your expert advise.

Echo....Echo...Echo... sorry couldn't resist. A lot more experience here than I can offer, but I agree about B not being much of an option.
I like C but with this modification, since you are entertaing the thought of an amp. Get a good 3 ch amp for the RTi10 fronts and CSiA6 centre, then use the serial connection for the surrounds and drive the 4 FXi4 and RTi6 with the Integra.
BTW Welcome to CP -
Thanks for the info.
I have now hooked up the Fxi4 in series and it sounds great. In regards to the new amp suggestion I may go all the way and get an amp for all the channels.
