    I'll just jump in and say,, that having helped my brother with the AI-1 dreadnaught (sp),, with his 2.3tl's,, in has brought them to an entirely different level,,simply amazing,, these for 850.00 with rdo replacements---a STEAL,,good luck with the sale.

    I'll go out further on a limb,,do not underestimate these speakers, given the proper current/power,they will most likely be the last SDA's that you will ever need.

    Still available until someone shows up with cash instead of calling/emailing BS talk. Lot's of BS'ers in New England.....and lots of cheepskates. Forgive my "tone" I've had it up to here with these people. ........"save it til tuesday", I'm coming next weekend", "sorry my wife said no, even though I told you I would buy them".......and more and more.

    I have heard every excuse in the book by email and on the phone.

    Just so there is no misunderstanding, I was not referring to you in my previous post. :)

    Perhaps it's just me, however these days someone's "word" or "promise" doesn't add up to much if anything at all. There's very little integrity out there.

    These are still available, not one person has come to even LOOK at them in all the time they have been offered for sale.

    As I speak they are playing nicely being driven by a QSC RMX 2450 amp.

    Dropped the ball is an understatement. I had offered these here for months without even ONE person interested in even looking at them. :confused:

    I was not greedy, I offered them at a fair price...no one stepped up. At this point I am no longer going to leave any money on the table. High bidder gets the goods.

    As much as I dislike Ebay, I want to SELL these. I have had enough talk, these need a new home. At the bare minimum ebay sorts out the talkers from the buyers. If you bid and win, I will look forward to meeting you. If you have a considerable distance to drive to pick these up, I will be happy to provide a night's accommodation in my home, and some New England hospitality if you like. This perk is for Polk forum members only......please let me know if you win and are a member here.

    It's all good......I got exactly what I wanted......an actual buyer. :) Not the tire-kickers and talkers I had dealt with since late August of last year. :mad:

    An excellent buyer in fact.... came last weekend to see and hear them... came again this morning, paid with cash, and took them home. :):)

    I so wanted them I even contacted a couple shipping companies to find a price for them to do everything so you wouldn't have to do anything and they never got back to me. hell I would have paid 700 bucks for shipping i still would have thought i was getting a good deal

    Hey Paul; Good for you.:) Too bad they didn't go for what those other 2.3s went for on ebay but glad to hear you got what you wanted and moved them on. Like I said in an earlier post that got deleted along with yours and many others; I would've taken em if I didn't already have a pair of those fine speakers. Mine are apart right now as I'm having the crossovers upgraded. (where's that dancin banana?)
