I-Sonic ES2

I think I'm very sad. :(

Before Christmas I heard of the I-Sonic. Someone told me it had Ipod, XM, HD radio - all in one package with great sound. It was like a dream come true. So I came to the polkaudio site and found the ES2. It appeared that they had dropped the XM BUT when I clicked on the link for accessories low and behold the XM mini tuner was there so I assumed (wrong now I think) that Yes I could still have XM. I looked up numerous reviews and they all said yes the ES2 was XM ready. So I sent my letter to Santa and he listened to me and I have a brand new ES2 still in it's box as well as my XM accessories that they sell off the ES2 page.

Then today before I open the box I do a little more research and find a video review that says NO XM. What????

I don't want to open up my radio and my XM accessories (once again may I say sold from the ES2's accessories page) if I'm going to have to be sending it back to the Northpole.

Could someone please let me know if XM is not a possibility with the ES2.

Thank you for your time.

Michelle

PS..in looking at some more reviews for the ES2 they also comment on the CD/DVD player...which it doesn't have so I'm assuming they took reviews of the ES and just added a few things not realizing the ES2 was quite differnt.

    Michelle,
Unfortunately the I-Sonic ES2 does not have built in XM capability. You are right the accessories page is unclear that the XM mini-tuner is for the I-Sonic ES (original) only. I'll get it changed.
However, you can get an external unit and plug it into the Aux-In port of the I-ES2.
