Need a recommendation on the selection of speakers for a Fisher 500-C and Scott 299-B tube amps, these have been in the family for many years, Dad purchased these new in the 60's, both units have been updated and rebuilt recently. Sub woofer recommendation, if any for center channel. We listen to every thing from jazz, rock to classical music. The Fisher has the abilty to hook up 4 speakers and the Scott has hook for only two. Thanks for your advice, input and thoughts. Robert

Those are both integrated amps meant for use in 2 channel music, so why are you asking about a sub and a center channel speaker?

The Fisher is actually a receiver. I would save that stellar vintage gear for another application and think of something more modern for center channels and subwoofers.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Ah yes, thank you Mark. I stand corrected, the Fisher is a receiver.
