Any experience with this tv?

I'm probably going to be switching out my 37 sony bravia for this model tomorrow. Anyone hear anything or have experience with it good or bad? I've been happy with mine but i can pick this one up for only a hundred more then what i spent on my current tv, thanks to costco grandfathering me in their 3 year return policy.

You have to apply the Underline and color manually if you want it to be obvious, otherwise it will only change when somebody happens to hover over it. Like this____________________

Ah...whoops. I didn't see that.
One of my friends has a pretty similar TV. It's a Sony Bravia, I forget if it's a 42 or 46 inch...I'm pretty sure it's a 46 inch though. It cost about the same though. It's a great TV...real sleek clean picture on it, across the screen motion is really smooth. It has 4 HDMI inputs, which is awesome. It says that Costco extends the factory warranty to 2 years also...which is never a bad thing.
That being said...you can't really go wrong with Sony's TV's in my experience. They have a pretty well earned reputation for building some of the best TV's out there...and for good reason. It'll definitely be a big upgrade from the 37" too.The nirvana inducer-

Well then you'll probably be happy with it. 1080p is awesome. I've heard a lot of debate lately over whether or not it's really worth the price difference...I think it is though. What a lot of people have been saying though is that on TV's smaller than 42" or so it's basically pointless, because it's not a big enough screen to even tell the difference. Being a 46" though, it should look amazing on there. The nirvana inducer-

This is the model Model KDL-46SL140. Check out the Model KDL-46XBR6; MUCH more features and the refresh rate beats that model all over the map. @ $1900.00.

All Sony LCD's seem to get pretty good ratings.
I wanted a Sony but couldn't afford one.
Went with my Vizio...$500 and Uncle Bush paid for it.
Next one will be a 42" 1080 Sony tho!!

I'm probably going to end up getting one of the Vizio TV's when I upgrade. I'm looking at the 32" Plasma that they have. It's a great deal for only 500 bucks. it doesn't have 1080p...it's 720p/1080i, but from what I understand, on panels under 40 inches or so 1080p doesn't even really make a difference. The nirvana inducer-

I compared the 32" 1080 vs 720 and at that size there was virtually no diff.
From 42" up you can tell a very slight diff....wasn't worth the extra bux at the time.
I also looked at Plasma.....heavier unit and runs very hot....whites were too bright so they almost certainly need calibration.
Looks like Vizio is a decent up and coming company from the reviews I read.

That's kind of what I've found...I'll stick with 720p until I get a TV over 46". Then I'll get one with 1080p and motionflow...makes a big difference then.
I've always liked Plasmas more than LCD's. They have a wider range of colors, and much deeper contrast ratios. The one in the store probably wasn't calibrated very well...
Vizio is actually the best selling brand of HDTV's in the country right now. That says a lot, because the companies only been around for like 4-5 years. The nirvana inducer-

That's what I was thinking when I got mine.
I did some digg'in on the web to see what the reviews were and it was pretty darn good.
When I saw a open box special at CC @ $500......then I got the extra warranty to cover my ****.
So if it ----'s the bed I get a NEW TV.
Provided CC don't go under before then!
