I think I'll stick to my $8.50/lb standing rib roast from my local butcher.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Wayyy to much for me. I have had Kobe beef before and its very good but I would never even think about spending that. And thats at the Costco discount too.

Some moron will by that and cook it to "well done" as well...

    I guess if I made $100MM a year, I'd be game.
There is no genuine justice in any scheme of feeding and coddling the loafer whose only ponderable energies are devoted wholly to reproduction. Nine-tenths of the rights he bellows for are really privileges and he does nothing to deserve them. We not only acquired a vast population of morons, we have inculcated all morons, old or young, with the doctrine that the decent and industrious people of the country are bound to support them for all time.-Menkin

Screw That! I'd rather spend $360 and get 4-10oz. fillets from Allen bros.
Even if you doubled that & got 8 fillets, you'd still be well under a grand!

That's a good deal. I eat those for dinner most days of the week...the cheapest I've ever gotten one was like 3000 dollars. I'll take 7 of them :p

That's ridiculous though...that's what's called taking advantage of people with money. If anyone actually pays that much though, it's their own fault for getting ripped off.

But, but, but it has such nice fat marbling

if this was the last Wagyu or whatever it's called ribeye roast on the earth. and it would spoil if someone didn't buy it.. then yeah.. if you got enough money to blow on something like this, then buy it. Otherwise, food should never cost that much.. even clubbing and cooking up a baby seal would be less than this beef roast. :p

It says that beer is one of the primary parts of their diet. Sounds good to me...get drunk and get massages all day long. That's what I want to be reincarnated as...lol
