Christmas Party

A few families and my family sponsored a single Dad with 3 kids this year for Christmas and we (as a group) all bought a bunch of gifts for the Dad and the teenagers.
So we all meet at this one families house this afternoon and I walk in and several football games were on but the guy had a big screen TV with what I think were RT 2000i (Tall floor standers with the subs built in the bottom) a CSi 5 and there were Polk Audio in walls and in ceilings everywhere and Atriums outside.
I said to the home owner you seem to be quite a Polk Audio fan, and as it turns out he went to school with one of the higher ups at Polk. He said that he like to support local companies like Polk and Under Armour. He was also wearing an Under Armour jacket and shirt.
I thought it was cool that he wanted to support a local company and I was glad that I was at a party that the main source of music wasn't a tiny iPod speaker.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

Who's the Polk big wig?
Under Armour is a great local franchise.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -

I hate when that happens...I have a few friends who just have little tiny boombox pod things that weigh like half a pound, and can only run off of an ipod. Talk about sound quality...lol I think the speaker on my cellphone would do just as well as some of those...:p
It's always cool to meet people with the same interests as you though. Always makes for a better time. The nirvana inducer-

Every Christmas Party I have gone to up until this one the main source of music was an iPod speaker thing. The worst was one of those JBL donut things.
