The computer which I needed to "Enter the last known good configuration" to work again, will not see an Ipod. I tried other USB ports and I tried 2 Ipods neither worked. Also tried to restored back to an earlier date no date I tried with return with "Not done no changes made" message. Run AVG scan disk and found nothing, I'm up to date with all Microsoft updates.
Would to do next, anyone?

Well it can't be a common issue. After googling Itunes can't see Ipod, the 5 R's to Ipods which I done 3 out of 5 already. I wasn't able to due to last R restore as it don't see the Ipod. So for some reason I looked at hardware / devices and some hardware where in the "Yellow" state uninstalled / rebooted and theres a God it works again.
Thanks all who wish to help but didn't have the words the positive thoughts help me out.
It's Christmas in the air.
