This is my third Christmas here, and something is missing:(

    Just changes Ben, always change. Things will change and then they'll change again. Three years ago members looked back three years (what is now six years ago) and said "Look at all the changes!" People come and go, like equipment and music trends, nothing stays the same. Enjoy the moment:)

    Is this "something missing" that you speak of, a Polk sponsored Christmas party, with gifts of loudspeakers for all who attend? I'd be down for that...lol...j/k

    Merry Christmas though everyone. Hope it's a good one for everybody.

    This is my first Christmas at Club Polk...and can't help but wonder what it is that we're missing? Guess I'll find out by Monday huh?

    Maybe it's the economy that causes people to show more restraint when buying new audio toys for Xmas..
    If this is the case, then I'm sure next year things will go back to normal.

    Merry Christmas & happy new year to all of you Polkies. This is also my first Christmas here and I'm very happy to say that the time I've spent on this forum has been great. The people here have been truely quite helpful and the forum never ceases to impress, inspire, inform, and entertain.. Well maybe not at the odd morning hours while I'm procrastinating and refreshing like it's my job. I'm still learning the ebb and flow of things and who is who but I'm looking foreward to spending more time around here. Anyhow I'm just about to catch a flight so I'm out. Later y'all.

    The people here are second to none. This is the first message board I've ever seen where the members actually exchange gifts like that.
