Depends on your room size. The psw10 is just a basic sub. Good if its free, bad if you buy it. I would look at something else. However I have been able to tweek it but by no means will it rock your house. If you said you were able to get 2 for about 150 I would say go for it and place them one in front and one behind you.

I'd save up for a single sub, and go with a slightly nicer one. I've never heard the PSW10 in person, but it has pretty bad reviews for the most part. It's just a basic sub though.

Look into the Velodynes, or something else. These Premier Acoustic subs are supposed to be pretty nice, and aren't that expensive either. Don't pay attention to the MSRP on that page. The PA-10 can be had for around 250-275, and the PA-12 goes for about 250-300. These would both be much better than the PSW 10.

Get a better sub. The PSW10 doesn't have good low end or volume and it distorts very easy.

well thanks for all the reply. I might just have to save enough to buy a Velodyne.
