Polk subs -- DSW PRO 500 VS. PSW1000
Hi, I see alot of POLK people on POLK forums putting down POLK subs. But anyway, I am hoping someone here has had the chance to compare the DSW PRO 500 with a PSW1000. I've seen some things said about both, which worries me. I own the 500, I don't think it's such a bad sub, but, I still want to hear from some PSW1000 owners. It would match my RTi A5's in cosmetics, but, what about the performance, I go about 50/50 in both music and movies. I am hoping it can outperform the 500, what say you owners, do you really like the 1000 or are you sorry you bought it. How does it perform as far as money vs. peformance ?

I am not feeling sorry I bought 4 x PSW1000 to pair with the Lsi speakers I have. Both DSW Pro 500 (from what I heard) and PSW1000 are good subs (not the best, not the loudest or not the lowest subs in the market) but goes well with the Polk speakers with minimum fuss or integration. PSW1000 sounds awesome for HT and music use. If I have to pay for the Full Retail these days, I might regret it but for the money I paid, it's well worth it. I could buy 4 more at the price I paid but I am going different direction with my next IB subs build. So, yeah, both good subs but I can't compare PSW1000 to DSW Pro 500 because I don't have one or listened to one yet.Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:
