For my next SACD music purchase I'm looking at these 2 Cd's.
DCD Into the Labyrinth
DCD Within the Realm of a Dying Sun
I have both of these in standard format and love em.
Anyone else have these 2 in SACD format?
How is the quality of the multi-channel recording?
I can get em both from Amazon for just under 30 bux free shipping.
Reviews there are 4.5-5 starts from 50+ ppl.

They're not multichannel.SRT For Life; SDA Forever!
The SRT SEISMIC System:
Four main satellite speakers, six powered subs, two dedicated for LFE channel, two center speakers for over/under screen placement and three Control Centers. Amaze your friends, terrorize your neighbors, seize the audio bragging rights for your state. Go ahead, buy it; you only go around once. -

Not all SACD are multichannel. Not all SACD are hybrid either.
Some are stereo recordings, Some are multichannel and stereo, some are hybrid redbook with sacd stereo and multichannel layers.SRT For Life; SDA Forever!

Multi-channel was an after thought, not in the original plans for SACD. It should have remained just a thought.Political Correctness'.........defined

Dunno if properly done I can see Live or Theater stuff sounding real nice.
Dead Can Dance is always recorded in a Church or Theater.
Classical done in a Theater.....either one I bet sounds sweet!
As for studio work....I haven't been super impressed with it.

I just heard Dead Can Dance for the first time a few days ago...I liked the little bit that I heard though.
And yeah, not all SACD's are multi-channel. Some are just dubbed in 2 channel stereo.
I'm more of a fan of the multi-channel myself, but I'm sure the 2 channel dubs are still phenomenal. The nirvana inducer-
