    Who's that, wangotango?

The only problem I have with ComCast and MSN is that they let **** like him propagate their worthless ****.

    Subject: "anybody else??".....

... notice how any thread that has wangotango68 in it escalates into a name-calling feud? I'm not placing the blame on anyone in particular.... just pointing it out.

Your obsession with and fear of **** people is a reflection of your own latent desires. I find you amazingly ignorant, even for a Hoosier. Lets get one thing clear, shall we, because I don't want any confusion on your behalf, I'm not **** and I will out-wit you on any given day. Sometimes it's hard for me not to feel sorry for you, but you're such a loser that I know I'd be wasting my time.

The answer to that is simple, as George put it, you're a cockroach and I'll cross the street to crush that POS everytime. As usual, you have the facts twisted. The one who is sticking their nose where it doesn't belong is you. Everybody keeps telling you to leave, but you're not listening.

    I'm just telling ya!

    F1nut,

Not EVERYONE is telling Scott to leave. Once again, you haven't gotten your facts straight.

    Ron,

Oh, I've got the facts straight, you're the only one defending that POS and while I've really no bone to pick with you, I am disappointed that you would. Wake up man!

    Internet virus slows computer traffic
    Last Updated Sat, 25 Jan 2003 23:28:17
WASHINGTON - The Internet caught a nasty cold on Saturday, when a virus-like infection caused congestion in many parts of the worldwide digital network.

    INDEPTH: The Code Red Worm

Traffic on the Web slowed down significantly for several hours, according to sites that monitor its use. The effects were felt around the globe, and at least 39,000 computers were reportedly infected.
Experts compared it to the "Code Red" virus attack, which ground Internet use to a virtual halt in the summer of 2001.

People reported having trouble withdrawing from some automated banking machines in both Canada and the United States.

Beginning at about 12:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, a virus began randomly searching for vulnerable computers, with the intention of taking advantage of a known security problem in Microsoft's SQL Server 2000 software.

Microsoft issued a patch for the security problem, but there was no way to know how many server administrators installed it.

Early Saturday, the virus was aggressively scanning for victims by sending out thousands of digital probes a second. That traffic overwhelmed some parts of the Internet.

Some experts estimated that 22,000 servers had been affected. After about six hours, most administrators had managed to block the attacking messages, and traffic was returning to normal.

"Everything is starting to come back online," said Bill Murray of the FBI's National Infrastructure Protection Center.

"We know what the issue was and how to mitigate it, and we're just imploring systems administrators to apply the patches that will prevent this from propagating again."
