I am thinking of getting rid of my Paradigm Mini Monitors v.4 speakers and moving to the Polk RTiA1 model. Thoughts on this? Good move, or is this a dumb question?

Thanks and Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Can you go listen to the RTiA1? Best way of knowing if you'll like them more.

I am thinking of just buying them anyway, they got great reviews in Sterophile this year (August) I think

Based on a quick price comparison, do you really think this would be worth the upgrade?

Paradigm's have a good rep - as does the RTiA1 -but both are in the same ball park for MSRP.

Maybe you should consider going up the RTiA3 if you are set on a bookshelf.

And depending on your listening tastes, maybe the LSi7?

From what reviews I could find on the v4s, the RTiA1s may be more 'revealing' in the top end - but I'm not sure, given the cost, you'll get a dramatic step up in SQ.

    Just stirring the pot....

Thanks Eric, good info and I tend to agree, just thinking aloud here. The RTiA3 may be the way to go, but I will also take a look at the LSi7. I am a speaker junkie!!
