If anyone buy brand new polk speakers from non authorized dealers and will we still be covered with 5 year warranty?

That's basically the subject of this thread....

What's confusing is that there is a "the e warehouse" store on ebay and under the "where to buy" drop-down on this Polk site, there is listed a company named "the e warehouse" - but it doesn't look like they are one in the same.

Also, the website for "the e warehouse" is screwed up which doesn't help any, either.

Another point has to do with buying through amazon.com. Many times, amazon sells Polk speakers from a third party who are not listed as an authorized dealer. What's the warranty situation in this case? The buyer is purchasing thru amazon.com and yet may not have a valid warranty?

Well I have some good news- The E Warehouse is an authorized online dealer. We have to add them to our list.

As for the subwoofer issue, you may want to consider sending the unit back to our factory service center. It doesn't sound like it's functioning properly.

    Thats a good news!
I am curious, he said he got factory sealed box and would he get brand new or refurbished subwoofer from polk company? I am assuming 5 years warranty will replace defective product to refurbished. how long will polk consider product as "Brand New" and will they replace item for another brand new item within 30 days of purchase?

any retail store that carry polk would and i am wondering abt polk company.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question-
However it basically boils down like this- provided you're the original purchaser, the product was purchased at an authorized retailer, and you have some proof of purchase (receipt or credit card statement):
Home speakers have a 5 year warranty. Amplifiers on home speakers have a 3 year warranty.
If it's defective within the first 30 days (typically), it's best to deal with the store/retailer you bought it from.
After that time, deal with us.
Warranty is no longer valid if- the item is sold, given away, modified, abused etc.

Thanks for the info.. appreciate it, wife was little skeptic abt ordering from ebay. She want to buy direct from your company or amazon. Good to see that we have good customer service from polk.

edit: We made our decision to buy polk speakers at Amazon.com. Thanks for your time Eric.

So, how's this turning out? After finding out the e warehouse is an authorized dealer, I'm seriously considering picking up a MicroPro.

Are they in the same placement? COntrary to popular belief subwoofers do not work well in corners! That acually supresses the sound

Im suprise no one ask this...

Im a little curious to how you had it set up ? what kind of cables were used, what reciever and Settings ?

If you had both Subwoofers hook up and were just using the Left Channel input thats a reason it isnt so Loud... what setting do you have the Subwoofer set on? and at what Volume Level?

I demo the Micropro1000 and it Should **** all over psw111.

The best cable Set I use when I demo it was Rca with a Y Connector something you may want to try.
