Pair of Monitor 30's for the Center Channel

I tried to find a thread on this but could not. My TV Stand space will allow me to put a pair of these side by side and I could use them as my center channel and my SDA-2B's as the fronts.
My guess is if I wire them correctly I could still get 8 ohms.
polkdirect is selling them for $79.00 + $20.00 shipping for a pair.
Good idea or just wait to find a CS300 that will fit in my small space?

I had (have, come to think of it) a pair of 30s I used as surrounds. For music, even at moderate volume, I found them to be a bit hard, shrill, maybe bright is the word. Anyway ear fatigue was noticeable within an hour or so.
Don't know anything about the voice matching question. -
Never mind...probably a bad idea

Bookshelf speakers will work well but I think you should try a little better pair of bookshelf speakers.
