Vicney, Welcome to the Club!
Yep the LSi9's are power hungry to really shine. But you can make them work with very little too. But they really need power get the full potential out of them.
Almost every mention of the LSi series seems to evoke the response that external amplification is a necessity. I'll leave the AVR/receiver recommendations to others-- So going on that I can only recommend the external amp that I have used for my LSi9's and that would be the Emotiva XPA series. For HT I would say the XPA-5. They are on sale right now with free shipping (until the end of the year) (No affiliation).
I would also mention that the LSi9 series is a different category than the RTi series which includes the CSiA4 and the FXi3. Its been said that its a good practice to keep at least the front speakers all from the same series so that they are timbre/voice matched. And preferably the surrounds as well. Although this is the preference not the rule. Some have mixed the series and like the mix so its all in how you like the sound.____________________

and the price 699us is good, right? but i don't know how can i get it because i am in china.
if someone can buy on my behalf,i would pay for it. thank you! by the way, what kind of preamp fit for UPA-7 and lsi9? can i get a cheaper AVR if it has latest decoding and which model? thank you very much! -
sorry, it is not UPA-7,it is XPA
-
If you get a receiver make sure it has pre outs so you can use an external amp.
-
Emotiva should ship to china directly, no one in their right mind would ever buy it for you. You really want the xpa-5, if you're running 7.1 you can drive the surrounds off your receiver.

Just a thought, if you are in China, perhaps it would be better for you to go with Rotel (which I am sure you can find it there, or in Hong Kong). It mates with LSis series really well too. Another brand that would mate well with LSis that should be available easily (again, in HK) is Arcam.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I thought Wisonsin had it bad with 5.6% tax. Is that 25% tax for everything you buy in China or just certain items? -

speaker or amp is 25% in china if somebody buy them from usa. -
Then it is really doesn't make sense to import any of these amps from the USA. Used amps would be the route that make economical sense, I am sure that there is reputable used high-end gears in China, or for sure, Hong Kong. I would also think that importing gears from Singapore is another option that you could venture, but for you, Hong Kong is your best bet.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. Rotel RSX-1065 is one that I used to own to drive my LSis. RSX-1055 is also another option, slightly lower wattages, but still capable. These are 5 years old Rotel, so used price should be good. You can go to www.rotel.com to get their current line-up, for their newer models. Powerful and sounds very good. I am sure there are other members here that can suggest you good Parasound.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Where are you located? I have spent a little time in southern China, right now it is snowing hard and about -4C at my home so S China sounds very good right now. One thing to keep in mind on US amps is the input power. Many are dual AC input capable but some may not be and are only 120VAC 60 Hz. Of course you could always use an external trans. but this could impact performance a little.
Are you familiar with THIS site?
Have you looked into some Chinese brands? Such as Bada, Dussun, Yaqin, not sure what they have to offer in China or prices, but from what I read they make some very good integrated amps. You can try Emotiva's web site and ask the question on their forum (the owner and designer often respond) or email them and ask. They may be able to ship to you from the factory, I don't know if this is possible, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm sure if this would pose any legal problems they would not do it, but if not they may have you pay them in the states, then ship from the factory. A lot of issues; exchange rate international funds transfer etc. but probably not impossible. -
Another thought came to mind.
http://newegg.com.cn/ I see they carry some 2 ch Onkyo amps. -
