Amp for Sub question.

I recently took advantage of Crutchfield's buy one, get one free deal on last years Momo subs. I purchased (2) 4-ohm (SVC) 12's to run in a 2-ohm load off of my Alpine monoblock amp. When I owned my Toyota Tacoma I was running the same subs but only 8's off of this amp and it sounded amazing for only 8's. My question is, will I have a problem driving dual 12's with this amp? I know and have planned to move up to a much larger monoblock amp but for the time being just wanna know if this amp will pull duty for the time being. Here is the monoblock amp I would be using as a temporary solution.

Thats a pretty stout amp. I remember reading a test report on it in one of the magazines and it made over 400 RMS on the test bench.

However, while that is enough for a pair of Momo 8's, it will be a little short for the 12's. It wont hurt the 12's any but you wont be getting the most potential with it. Ideally, youll want 400 RMS per sub.

Those will defintely do the job! The V Power series is a great line. Theyre nothing fancy but theyll easily meet their rated power and theyre very well built.

Okay, all gear is here. My next question I know will be a trial and error question but I'm gonna get your opinion anyways. All this gear will be installed in a 95 Civic Coupe. What would result in the best possible so quality, facing the subs through the rear fold down seat firing into the cabin area or just have the subs fire into the trunk itself. My main goal is for is to sound great but I'd also like the ability to rattle the teeth inside my gums if need be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rear firing for the win (typically, though your results may vary) :).

Ideally you'd try it a few different ways, but I suspect you'll get the same sound quality and more output/less cancellation firing your enclosure directly at the license plate.
