Looking for cheap Polk floorstanding speakers

I saw the Polk R50's on frys.com (or outpost.com) for $58 each, but they have since removed them, and added back only the cherry finish kind for $200 each. I was wondering if you think that Fry's will get them back in stock and for cheap, and if not, where I should look to find some other ones.

Thanks.

May have been just a typo, sounds too good to be true on the 50's. Cheapest I could find them anywhere else (quick Froogle search) was $100-$125 a piece on Ebay. Do you have your heart set on the R50's? I have Monitor 70's and love them, would the Monitor 50's be an option for you? Granted the R50's have 2 6 1/2 woofers and the Monitors have 2 5 1/4 woofers, but both are rated for about the same power, both are 8 Ohm speakers, and both are about the same size, although the Monitors are a bit lighter. Found them at CC for about $110 each, shipped, but at that price you could get the R50's off Ebay. Also, you could check the Polk Audio "store" on Ebay and see if they have anything, have heard nothing but good things about that site on this forum, eventhough they only sell factory refurbished stuff.

    Polk Direct ebay store

That's where I'd go. They currently have Monitor 50's for 200 dollars a pair shipped, plus they have the R300's for a little over a hundred a pair shipped.

They have other ones too depending on your price range.

Fry's repeats that R50 offer quite frequently.
I wouldn't be surprised to see it again shortly after Xmas.

Fry's has also been running RTi8's for $298 / pair (last weekend in Indy & every month or so) and for the extra cash you get a much better speaker than the R50's - I know as that is what I did. In comparison the R50's were almost vieled while the RTi8's are very clear and detailed.

Would you be interested in a black pair of RTi-10's? I'm located in Charlotte if that helps your decision at all.
