Great forum! I didn't realize there was an "Old Polks Home".

I have 4 monitor 10's that have been following me around since Carter was President. They still sound great but the grills are looking about as haggard as I am.
I'm looking for a good match to the original fabric, One suggestion I saw on another forum was a fabric called "ponte" Any guidance or recommendations would be appreciated.

edited to add: Also, Any tips for getting the push nut off of the stud for the name plate?

Welcome to Club Polk. The push nut can be twisted, and pulled at the same time. It will come off after testing your patience:)

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

Some of the reviews on the PE website state that the grill "color is more on the purple black that dark deep black." Any thoughts about this color as I am planning on redoing my Monitor 10A's.

Thanks much for the replies, I ordered the Parts Express brown fabric. I just moved into a new house with oak floors and trim, I think the speakers will blend in better visually with the brown grilles.

If you have a Joann's fabric chain in your area, they have nice "warm" black speaker fabric.
