Searched and found nothing really conclusive.....Do the RT25i...RT55i....CS400i series drivers suffer shifting magnet issues like the older 65xx drivers do ?

I found some nice maple sets to go with my RT800i's, but they are too far for local pickup and need shipped. Just needed to know before committing to getting them shipped here.....Thanks in advance :D

Thanks for the thread! I've been wondering the same thing, since I intend to sell (and possibly ship) some RT35, RT55, RT800, CS300 and CS400 at some point in the next one to six months.

P.S. Congratulations on the maple: I've never seen it myself, but I bet it looks good.
    Alea jacta est!

I got the RT800i's in maple locally....and the color is very nice...and I just want to get some matching smaller cabinets for the mancave...and oust the SDA2b's and RT55's to my daughters old room now that its livable with an active system and not a speaker museum ;)

The RT series soesn't have a known history of driver failure during shipping.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

How much do you pay for professional packaging? I am trying to pack a pair of RT55i but I'm thinking maybe just let UPS handles it

I just received a pair of RT25is from a seller on ebay. One of the woofers is destroyed. The magnet separated from the casting and the voice coil is destroyed.

you need to take the issue up with your Ebay seller... see if he'll pay for half the cost of a new driver. it's not his fault that the driver magnet came off though really.. this is a problem sometimes when speakers are shipped.
