Mr. Grand is doing well. Still hurtin' a bit from the surgery but his spirits are up and we stopped by and bugged him for a few hours. Guess what they say is true and you can't keep a good man down!

After that we went to Philly for the holiday light show at the old Wanamaker building now owned by Macy's. Then it was off to diner and quite a good show at the Chris Jazz Cafe after bumming around Philly to see the Christmas displays and just take in the sights.

Then it was off to Chickie's and Pete's to watch Dallas beat the Giants and the best part was, the only Philly fans were the ones that we brought with us.

Yeah, it was a very good weekend in many more ways than what I just listed! ;)

Next weekend I have to go help a friend paint some rooms in a new house he is closing on tomorrow. I think that will end up being just as good.

Cool. I haven't been to the show at the old Wanamaker's in ages (since before I was able to drive-And IIRC it was still called Wanamakers then too).
I really need to bring my kids there soon.
