Hello, have a nice set, but 2 tweeters are blown, they are sl1. Would not mind upgrading all 4, but if someone has sl1 then maybe I would go for them. Also, a woofer is blown, the 6.5 in the middle. And I also need an interconnect cable. These are the SDA1 not 1A or B just 1. If anyone has any leads on anything I would appreciate it. Thanks

Paul

    Paul,
I think more info is needed and pictures are always a good idea. You should see part numbers on the backs of the drivers like MWXXXX Pictures of the tweeters will be a big help and which IC you have, pin/blade or blade/blade.
    Hope this helps

I have a similar situation, I have a pair of SDA 1's I recently purchased and a tweeter has a disconnected lead on the face and a blown MW6500. If you decide to upgrade, please let me know as I would be interested in both working SL 1000's.

I will make you an interconnect. You can even decide what type wire you want to use. Matching what you have is a good idea. Let me know here or PM or email.

I have a pair of early SDA-1's that have a hand written date ( by the crossover) of Oct. 1982. The woofers in this cabinet are all MW6600x's....a really nicely made interconnect for these 3-prong plugs is necessary for proper polarity and a "snug" fit, as anything else but this, will lead to amplification problems such as protection shutdown or worse.

I have 6501's if need be.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben
