Fuzzzed Driver

Hi all...
New to this forum, and new to Polk Speakers. Here's the deal.
I was given a Yamaha reciever and a pair of Polk S 6 Speakers...For free. I think they were produced around '92 or so. One of the speakers has a "fuzzy" driver. My question is this. Can I buy replacement parts, or substitute something else?. I can hold the cone with some pressure to stop the fuzzing sound so I figured it is "blown", although there are no obvious rips tears, or separations. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to Club Polk!

Yes, parts are available for older products. Contact Polk Customer Service:

Be sure to have the speaker model & any other info at the ready. If you can, remove the driver and look for any part numbers or ID on the driver (may help, since sometimes there were changes during a product cycle.)

And be sure to tell them you are a Club Polk member (gets you a discount!)

    Cheers, Jim
