Cool beans Bob! 13 days seems like a lifetime. The company I work for had crews up there working 24-7 doing there best. I've been on several storm repairs and it's no picnic. We freeze for 16 hours and thaw out for 4. We do what can with what we have during those times.
    More "power" to ya bud!!

Yeah I already called them to ask nicely about it and they told me tough crap, there were lots of problems and they can't be held responsible. So if I really want to push it it sounds like I'd have to lawyer up.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I bet they wouldn't tell the power company tough noogies if that idiot driver tore down a couple of feeder poles.

I've froze my butt off a couple of times after ice storms. Working 100 hours in 6 and half days takes it out of you. Gimme some rubber gloves, a zip stick, and a full compliment of fuses and I'll pick the world back up!!! :)

Yep! Some older linemen taught me to put the rubbers in the cab under the foot heater on the way to the job. :D

I don't know about all this "Rubbers" talk all I know is that I keep mine in my draw. The last time I heated my "Rubbers" to the "Job" they melted. :(

My guess is they're talking about the thick rubber linemans gloves. Keeps you from having a shocking experience should you touch the wrong thing.

Could also be the boots? Keeps you isolated from ground. Provided you don't cross lines or come in contact with another ground anyway...
    Ludicrous gibs!

WTF? I wonder what they would have said if the plow went into your house......."whoops, tough crap"?

It's not like you had any responsibility whatsoever in the matter.

Bob, I think you need a lawyer, just the fact you have one will get them signing a different tune.
