    Go grab these instead: http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/ele/957884672.html

...before I have to buy them just because of the price. I was thinking about checking these out just for the stands (if tall enough), but I don't need more speakers.

I agree, it is hard to tell what comes with the sale but at that price just the speakers is a good buy, if the center which looks like a CSiA6 is even a btter deal. Can't comment on the sub or stand.

On thing about the 10s is they perfrom best with power, the RTi8s have better mid-bass IMO but at that price you could get the 10s and be very happy.

OMG this is an amazing deal- nobody take it I already jumped on it!! hahaha. Well, trying to get ahold of the guy now. even if it's just teh 10's that's a great deal- if it's everything pictured that's amazing...

I already have sub/center, and ordered stands recently but damn...

Yeah, i'm interested in hearing more opinions on the 10's. I hear from some people they like the 8's with a nice sub because of the 2 mids, vs the 10's with no sub. I've got a velodyne vx-10, but that's pretty entry level so I dont' know if that's what they mean by "good sub" when combining with the 8's.

at that price, I can't pass them up though.

I had been scouring craigslist all the way up until yesterday- thanks for the find of the year :)

noooooo, they were just sold! Someone came to pick them up like 10 minutes ago...

That was the deal of the century man... just to clarify I asked if he was selling ALL that stuff for 200 or just the rti10's (cuz the title only says rti10, but listing has more stuff), and indeed it was the whole set for 200. I will be kicking myself for many months to come over missing that one... :(

Stuff comes and go. Have you considered any of the vintage polks ?

I bought a pair of RTi8s this spring and liked then, In October I had a chance to score some 1990 Monitor 12s, upgrade the tweeters to Polk RDO198s and I loved them so much I sold the RTi8s.

Since then I have picked up a pair of SDA 1Cs.

    Just a thought.

deals do come and go- but deals like that- rarely... Thanks for the suggestion, but with the space I have and trying to match the style of my living room, I think the 8's or 10's would be best for me.

I called my local fry's and it turns out they DO have them, but at 349 each!! I don't know how that happned, I thought all fry's that had them in stock sold them for 149...

So I'm still looking for a good deal on some used black rti 8's from anyone willing to ship or living in the seattle area. Thanks

Not that I am eager to do this but if like I can see if mt Frys still has them at $149 each and I could buy them and ship in original boxes, I suspect shipping would run about $70.

PM me if you are interested

wow... well I would just like to say that that is an incredibly generous offer... I'm not sure I would be comfortable asking you to do that without being able to give you something for your trouble, but I don't know how much more I can spend on these... But I would like to thank you publicly, and I will PM to discuss privately.

thanks thsmith, I took your advice and went for the rti A5's on ebay. I was still charged wa state sales tax, but the prices were still close enough that I might as well have gone for it. Wallet will take a little hit, but in the end I think it will be worth it.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out- I'm a new member here at Club Polk, but after experiencing the friendliness and generosity of the members here so far, I'll be here for a long time :)
