Sonosub for sale... for CHEAP

Some financial challenges have led to this. I'm pricing it way below parts cost in hopes that someone can pull the trigger quickly.
Meticulously designed and crafted based on very specific parameters to achieve ideal performance. I wish I had kept a tally on how many hours were invested in building this beast... rest assured this would take any individual a very long time to build (correctly)
15" RL-P15 SoundSplinter subwoofer ($335 driver!!) See www.soundsplinter.com
10cu.ft. enclosure (ideal) with 6" flared port that is ~20" long, padded inside to reduce resonance. (Volume near exact... sub and padding taken into account for net volume)
Sturdy 3/4" MDF endcaps, Three layers on either side. Six 1" diameter wooden legs. Iron-on veneer around endcaps. All grained wood stained with Walnut, then coated with two layers polyurethane for protection.
Also included is the Behringer EP1500 Pro Audio amp, nearly new. ($300 new!!) Set up to output 1400watts at 4ohms peak. (this is the most recommended amplifier to pair with this particular driver)
$550 for ALL OF IT. Sub, speaker cable, signal cable, and amp. Local only, as this thing is enormous and would be ridiculous to even consider shipping... The materials/equipment alone cost more than what I'm asking! Have all original packaging (double boxed) for Behringer. Would possibly be able to deliver in Metro area for a serious buyer.

I remember following your build thread. Best of luck with your sale."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Good luck Dane, I too was following this when I was building mine. That is one heck of a good deal.
-
You moving to Tampa FL. It would be local then. Best of luck on the sale locally.

Thanks for the replies, guys. My wife would not be happy in Fl, I'm afraid (though she does hate driving in the snow...) I have a possible buyer, but nothing for sure yet.

Anybody Roadtripping from Minnesota to Colorado?:D:D:D"Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason." -
You could strap it on a crate and send it truck freight. Of course you would have to wrap a blanket around it and maybe a few layers of carboard. Some buyers might be willing to take a chance on shipping damage even if you claim "as is/as received". It should be pretty stable with most of the weight in the bottom. I'm guessing the shipping could be under $200 half way across the US. Just throwing out a thought.
madmaxVinyl, the final frontier...
Avantgarde horns, 300b tubes, thats the kinda crap I want... -
Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I'm not going to drop the price anymore, but I'd have to think someone local could find use for it (at least at this price!) Avoiding the shipping hassle at this point.
