hey guys I found a rotel rsp 1066 on the canuck audio mart for $500 but I can't seem to find specs and need some advice. I'm using a Denon avr-888 pushing Rti 10's, Csi5, fxi3 sats. Would the rotel be a good fit to the system or should I upgrade the Denon first. The Guy selling it has all positive feedback but didn't know how to spell rotel or surround and didn't post picks or any real info.

I am not familiar with that Rotel amp.. but ask him for some pictures.. and if he has the manual, and what year it was built. It's also possible it has a different model number since it may have only been sold in Canada or for the Euro market. I recently bought a Pioneer amp that had a different model number for the Canadian market... but it's the same as the US version, just different model numbers.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

The RSP 1066 is a pre amp receiver not a amp.

That Rotel is a good processor for the money. I would offer him $400 and go from there. Use the preouts on your Denon to hook the Rotel to for the processing part.[
