Im looking to get rid of my fx300i rear surrounds and get towers. I like 5 ch stereo music and like it loud. I now have plenty of power to play around with. Would the Rti 12 match good with my speakers? Ill make them my new fronts and move the rti150's to the rear.
But I was also wondering does the monitor series match up well also. They seem to be alot cheaper.
If I go with the rti12 Ill be powering with my xpa5 using only 2 ch so they should rock. Watcha think.

For the best match, you'd probably should stick with RTi series, but putting RTi12 in the back would be such a waste (just my opinion). Why not go with RTi8 or RTi10? These are the smaller brothers to RTi12.

Or better yet, go with RTi100, to match your fronts.

I thought he was going to put he 12`s up front...

you are correct....12`s in the rear would be a huge waiste

even the 10`s might be overkill....nice, but maybe too much

I have never used 7.1 for music though !!

Yeah, Ill put the rti12's in the front and move my rti150's to the rear. I think the rti12 will have more bass and sound a little better than what i currently have even though they rock. I upgraditis right now which explains the 2 new emotiva amps. By the way are the rti12 8 ohms. I kow my rti150s say they are but I hear they actually are not. Does anyone know the real ohms of the 150's or how can I measure it. I have a volt/ohm meter.
