Hello -

I picked my first of Polk's last night, a set of SDA-1's, bought them sight unseen. Very excited until I got home and realized one of the mid-drivers was toast and one of the tweeters did not function. The tweeter appears to have lost one of the connection points for the little signal wire, but the mid needs to be replaced. Where should I look to find the parts I need? Any help would be appreciated.

When you push in on the passive radiator do all the mid woofers move?
Is this the original 1's with the tweeters side by side?
    Where are you located?

Thanks for the welcome. No, not all the drivers move when the radiator is pushed, only two I believe. Yes, the tweeters are side by side.

    I am in Minnesota.

I have not taken the driver out of the cabinet yet, not sure of the model number specifically. I'm not sure if it's an inner driver?? I could not tell from the info on the speakers if there is a specific Left/Right, I don't have the manual either. I bought these from the original owner and he has the manual/receipts, etc but cannot locate them yet.

Pulled the driver out, it is a MW6500. I need to find a replacement for it and also the SL1000 tweeter that has a disconnected feed wire. Where is the best place for replacement parts?

If it is the female quick disconnect then radio shack has the part. It cost two dollars for a bag of 10. I just fixed my SDA 2's with the same problem.

I think I may have mistated the problem with the SL1000. The wire on the front of the driver connecting the dome itself to the front plate. Maybe it could be fixed?

I just added a comment in your post regarding your tweeter issues. I have similar issue to you in needing a MW6500 and SL 1000. Maybe we can help each other?
