Received:

4 12uF sonic caps
4 mills resistor
sonic solder

2 .33uF Dayton caps.

Glue gun.

Can anyone help out with tips especially for glue I don't want to overdue it...and I definitely don't want to accidentally skip glueing something really important.

My current plan is to emulate the original glueing spots.

The dayton .33uf caps look really small this is normal or did I buy the wrong caps?
Cool stuff: Adcom GFA-555, GFP-710, Oppo BDP-83, Monitor 10's w/RDO198s, rebuilt and modded XO: Sonicap/Mundorf topside, Daytons Low.

They should be 33uf, and not .33uf.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

    Amazing those don't appear here:

and I would have caught my stupidity had they! Well actually I called it in...and told them specs...so....ah w/e.

    Thanks....anyone with glue tips do's or dont's?

What model are you working on, Randy?

I just installed new capacitors and resistors in my 7Bs (my first such project ever) and I didn't use any glue.

I thought about it, but the components weren't glued down in the first place. Plus, the new capacitors are so much larger than the old ones that they can't sit in the same place on the board: in fact, they would cover up the holes where the leads need to go, if they were sitting right down on the board.

I'm just happy that glad my vast experience of rebuilding one set of crossovers will be of help to others. :p

Monitor 10's w/10a XO well I read somewhere here somethings do have to def. be glued due to the harmonics in the box or pressure w/e....

I'm gonna try and glue as much down as I can.

You will want all components to be tight, so to speak. Use just enough hot melt to hold the caps and resistors so they don't vibrate. I used some good quality foam tape between the board and the caps and resistors. Where the caps and resistors are close enough or touch lay a bead of hot melt so they are bonded together.
Hope I have been a help.
