Okay. So there is much talking and news about Mr Tim Tebow. I give credit where its due, but, damn, Tim Tebow? Lets see. The NFL, did give a try, trending, to get QB's that are good on their feet. Meaning, QB's that like to run with the football as the alternative option to finding a quick pass. That trending ended this year, hopefully.

Is it me or are the good to great and legendary QB's pocket passers? Yeah, they are good in the feet too, planting the foot, shifting the weight, and the efficient way to throw a football, or run out of the pocket to make a pass. Hmm.

Watching all the videos of Mr Tim Tebow, he is not a pocket passer. He has a tendancy to take of his helmet often to show a war time face as well. I do not know, what does everyone think? He seems like the best drama actor in college sports. I am with Mike Leach, sorry if i spelled his last name wrong. Politics over performance. Yes, maybe there are those that read my posts, I am a Sooner fan, and dont want to get into all that Texas, OU thing. Unbiased.....

My vote goes to Tim Tebow, #1 Drama Queen.

If I had a vote, Tim Tebow would get my vote for a second Heisman Trophy. He is that good and when the Gators finish beating OK it will be obvious just how good he is.

I'm not a Gator fan, but I think Tebow deserves to win. He's head and shoulders above the competition and the NFL will reward him handsomely for winning two Heismans.

When the Gators finish off the Sooners, will justify.. hmmm. Head and shoulders over the competition.. hmm.

Heismans, huh... Its way over rated do you not think so? Even the contenders for the Heisman, that were invited, over rated do you not think so? When was the last time a Heisman winner did anything? hmm... Or the contenders?? Hmm... Politics over performance...

He's a great college player, no doubt about that. But I can't see him doing anything at the next level. He isn't an accurate passer, IMO, and while his running skills are great, you don't run for a living in the NFL and have a successful career.

All the running college football QBs that succeeeded in the pros learned to use their feet to get away from rushers, then throw the ball downfield. McNabb, Steve Young, McNair, etc. Those that used their feet to run, not pass, didn't become successful QBs.

Plus, his running style is power, which works in college football with smaller LBs and safeties. Most of Tebow's runs are designed dive or QB draw plays where he gets hit. In the pros, he's going to go backwards instead of going forward when he gets contact.

Third round pick, in my book. Never going to make a splash in the NFL.

lol. It will be interesting to watch how things work out. This was actually a debate I encountered while at school. Mr Tebow is that good huh.

I never did say Sooners coaching staff was all that great, the guy in charge of the defense, Brent comes to mind.

I look forward to watching Tim Tebow in the NFL, for how long he is going to last.

Who ever said he needs to be an NFL QB?
What is wrong with having a great college carrer and winning Championships and moving on to something different later in life?

A agree, he is not an NFL QB. The offense Florida runs does not work in the NFL.
    Nuff said.

there are alot of great college players who washed out or opted never to join the pros.. but this should not take away from their college carrers

Gators beat OK? Hahaha... ahem.. ya, I hope it's true. But not gonna happen I fear.

Of course, waiting 4 weeks to play again will definitely hurt OK. But still... what a streak they are on. Wow.

I'm not a huge College fan, but I know.......as much as I know the sky is blue, that OK is going to win that game. I'm all for the FL fans holding out hopes though, but OK is just a points scoring machine!!!

that said, it should be a damn good game!

Congrats Florida! Mr Tebow is an athlete and I will stop there. I give credit where credit is due. But again, give Sooners some credit, talking about all stats, both of the Heisman had 2 intercepts and what not.... Tebow carried the team in second half, Sooners, never really played the spread they did all year! I wish Mr Tebow a great career, coming from a die hard Sooners person. Its all about the spirit and tradition of football and its history.

I am still a firm believer that Sam Bradford is the greatest QB to play for OU football, aside from Troy Aikmen, for his short period during the Switzer era. And I still believe that a pocket passer will succeed the most in NFL.

Tebow is very athletic. His will is awesome, more capable then Vince Young. All the props. I would love to see his career carry on, a great inspirational person.

Very nicely said! Sam is one of the most accurate QB's I have ever seen. Amazing year and no doubt he will succeed at the next level. Hopefully my Buckeyes will come back strong next season:)

Word. They both brought their 'A' game and left it all on the field.
After that 2nd pick, that takeaway by the Florida DB, OU had to be thinking "These guys must be liviing right." I could tell Bradford was thinking that from his expression, considering it was a perfect throw and catch.

The whole momentum changed from even-steven to all Florida. Props to them.

I liked seeing the OU players congratulating them afterward. The trash-talk by both sides, they knew it was just that.
